MANILA WATER COMPANY, INC. - Quezon City, Philippines

I am one of the resident in Rosa verde subdivision. We just had a meeting with our developer. They explained to us (home owners) why the water facility in this subdivision has not been turn over yet to Manila Water company. The request for the turn over from commercial business 1 to residential started way back 2009, and no action was done. Per developer, the Manila water company is encountering some internal problems. But I do not understand why it would took this long just to process the request for turn over. The water rate imposed by the developer increased from 28/cubic meter to Php33 per cubic meter. And it is already quite a burden to us. We do understand that the rate is commercial but if it could be transferred to residential rate, it would be a great help to us. I hope there will be a clear time frame as to when this will be transferred to residential rate.
