Municipality of Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental - Philippines

Laguindingan is a 5th class municipality in the Province of Misamis Oriental on the Mindanao island, southern part of the Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of about 18,451 people in 3,968 households. The town will be the site of the Laguindingan International Airport currently on going construction. Groundbreaking on the US $107 million project was held on January 11, 2006 and soon to open in 2011.[
