We went to the resort yesterday expecting to enjoy on the Wave Pool and Lazy River. We went there spoke with the grumpy receptionist who took our entrance fees and went inside without so much as a direction on where our paid cottage would be. We were told it was near the canteen but where the heck is the canteen?! We had to look for people inside the facility to ask directions.
Did I forget to mention the guard who checked our things? Well, he handled all of our clothes including underwears which is not hygienic in the least. He could have used a stick instead of using his bare hands.
So we found our table, settled down and looked around. OK. Water's clean.
We grilled our food and went on our business.
Swimming time! Too much chlorine on the pool water. It hurts the eye and water smells funny.
When we got up to eat our feet and hands was tinted blue. Is it from the water or the paint? When we washed up, my friend's white short turned to blue. And we were supposed to wear white as per the clothing guides when swimming!
No outlets available to charge our phones. We could've paid for it. The man in white said go to the outlet near the guard and charge there. It's free. Well, we won't leave our things near the guard nor would we spend our time to look out for our phone being charged. Can I also note that there is only 1 measly outlet available?! So it wouldn't be a productive use of our time.
Shower time. We want to get out of this place immediately.
No locks in the cubicles?! We opened the shower and the water is light yellow and smells bad. We let it run thinking that it hasn't been used for months. After several minutes we proceeded with showering. After 5 minutes the showers started, as if it were choking and let out yellow water that smells really bad. By now, we were all screaming and terribly disappointed. After 15mins it became tolerable. We have no choice, we either wash of the chlorine which is by that time caused itchiness in our skin or suffer a now mildly smelly water then wash off again when got home. We chose the second option.
The experience was terrible. We will never go back nor would we recommend this on our friends. Instead, we would advise them to never check out your resort.
