Estela G. D. Lopez is a Bachelor of Science in Architecture graduate of the University of Santo Tomas. She earned her architectural license in 1967. Architect Lopez is also a licensed Environmental Planner. She has attended seminar workshops and study tours in Shanghai, China, Colombo, Sri Lanka, Hongkong, Kaoshung and Taipei, Taiwan, Mexico, Panama, Jamaica, Indonesia, Singapore and the United States, some of which were sponsored by the World Bank. With extensive experience in metropolitan and town planning, physical, land use and industrial estate planning, she has designed at least 97 communities with an aggregate area of about 26,000 hectares in the Philippines , the Peoples Republic of China and Cambodia.
