The Manila Electric Company, also known as MERALCO, is the Philippines' largest distributor of electrical power. The word MERALCO, is an acronym for Manila Electric Railroad And Light Company, which was the company's original name from 1903 to 1919. MERALCO is the Metro Manila's only electric power distributor and holds the power distribution franchise for some 22 cities and 89 municipalities, including the whole of Metro Manila and Mega Manila region.

Magtatanong lang po sana about sa billing po namin. This past few months pataas ng pataas yung bill ng kuryente namin. Pero ang gamit lang naman po namin ay ilaw, electric fan at tv. Pero yung bill namin umabot ng 2, 328.98. Samantalang yung kapitbahay namin na mayroong gamit na ilaw, electric fan, REF at MAKINA na de-motor e nasa 900 lang ang babayaran. May possibility po ba na nagkapalit kami ng kuntador? Maski kasi sila nagtataka na maliit lang bill nila. Taga SJDM Bulacan po ako. Hindi ko rin po makontak yung hotline niyo.Sana po mabigyan niyo po ito ng pansin at mabigyang aksyon.
