St. Patrick's Hospital Medical Center - Batangas City, Philippines

Saint Patrick's Hospital Inc. was founded and organized in 1968 on the corner of Lopez Jaena and P. Mendoza streets, a stone's throw from Plaza Mabini and the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. It started as a 25-bed capacity 2-storey hospital, the brain child of Dr. Abelardo B. Perez and his wife Mrs. Rose Martha M. Perez. The hospital was formally opened to the public on March 29, 1971 with Dr. A.B. Perez as the Medical Director and Mrs. R. M. Perez as the administrator. By the year 1974, an annex building was constructed and five years later two additional floors were opened thus increasing the bed capacity to 100.
