1987 was a significant year for the Philippines, as the country was looking up and ahead, fresh from the euphoria of the peaceful revolt. The country’s leaders were sending out valiant calls for entrepreneurship in response to the prevailing sense of optimism in the air. Heeding this call and recognizing the huge potential in the Philippine pharmaceutical industry. A husband & wife team decided to establish a company to service the needs of the local market. Thus was born Kylemed Pharmaceuticals in February 1987, with office at #54 Annapolis St. Cubao, Quezon City. The company started with the distribution of local and foreign pharmaceutical products. Kylemed’s thrust of offering high quality products at inexpensive prices attracted more and more distributors and sub-distributors all over the country and established its strong market position.
