Martin Matiao Transport Services, Inc. (MMTSI) has been established in 1977 by Martin U. Matiao to transport the Martin U. Matiao, Founder LPG tanks for Petron Gasul, which is distributed in Negros Oriental by its sister company, Matiao Marketing Inc. It started with one truck servicing the Cebu to Dumaguete route. It expanded its operation by accepting other cargoes within the same route.
