PACIFICA, INC. - Philippines

Pacifica, Inc. (PA) was incorporated on September 2, 1957 to engage in exploration, drilling and exploitation of oil, gas and other volatile substances. On October 6, 2000, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved its conversion into a holding company including the change in par value. But timing and funding constraints prevented PA's management from pursuing investment in Build-Operate-Transfer projects as well as in real estate and bio-ethanol fuel businesses. On July 16, 2007, Strategic Alliance Development Corporation (STRADEC) sold its 33.61% equity interest in the company to Mikro-Tech Capital, Inc. (MTCI). MTCI aims to direct the focus of the business on exploration, operation, management and marketing of mining claims. PA has not commenced commercial operations as of December 31, 2008.
