Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd. Became one of the biggest in the Japanese Construction industry when Mitsui Co., Ltd. and Sumitomo Construction Co., Ltd merged as one company on April 01, 2003. Since first establishing an overseas subsidiary in 1971, Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd., has grown through Asia, Africa, and USA establishing a worldwide reputation for quality and expertise, so that in 1995, the establishment of a Philippine office formerly under the name of Sumicon Philippines corporation, which is now SMCC Philippines, Inc., was but a natural extension
