Municipality of Bacuag, Surigao del Norte - Philippines

Bacuag is a 5th class municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 12,206 people in 2,333 households. The Muncicipality of Bacuag is situated along the northeastern coast of Mindanao, along the eastern part of the Province of Surigao del Norte. It is bounded on the northwestern portion by the Municipality of Placer and on the northeastern portion by the Hinatuan Passage. On the southwestern side, it is bounded by the Municipality of Gigaquit.
