Boac is the only first class municipality in the province of Marinduque, Philippines. Almost meeting the criteria to be considered a city, this capital has a population of 67,504 people in 13,836 households, according to the 2007 census. Boac is believed to be the only municipality to have buildings with more than 100 stories, which are the main attraction of the province.
