Animal Welfare Group - Philippines

Started by a few dedicated individuals, the Animal Welfare Group concerns about the well-being and ethical treatment of animals. The idea of the Group was conceived at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in the Summer of 1998 when the author was doing research and instruction at the Animal Welfare Program, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, The group is envisioned to be a full-pledged Program in the coming months to come, with the establishment of a Center for Animal Care.
