First of all I was impressed with Katie and her product knowledge, great assistance and general helpfulness when we signed up for a Yamaha Mio Souli 125. She advised that there was a credit check required and that it would take 2-3 days to be conducted and gain a result for our credit application.
After 3 days we followed up with the dealership and was advised that Katie was on leave due to illness and that they would update us soon. Well they NEVER called us to update us and we had to resort to calling everyday at 5pm to check the status of when they would send a CI to continue the process. Seven days after the application was submitted the CI arrived unannounced to spend all of 3 mins onsite to do his portion of the application.
We then called the dealership on 3 days later to get an update again and was advised that we were able to come and collect the Mio as the application was finalised and approved.
After arriving and paying the deposit and asking for the new Mio to be delivered we were advised that it was not onsite and was located in a Warehouse (this is after confirming that the bike would be available to take home that day). We were also told before we paid the deposit that the bike was onsite already, which was a blatant lie by the Mototrade staff.
We negotiated that to have the bike delivered that evening and they assured that it was ok, so we left one of our staff members to assist in the delivery. After waiting for an hour our staff member called and advised it would be another hour of waiting. We then made contact with the staff of Mototrade and confirmed that they were ok to deliver still that evening and they promised it would happen.
Another 2 hours of waiting for the delivery we receive not a call but a text message to TELL us that they would deliver tomorrow instead.
The saga continued but honestly the Customer Service at Mototrade in Matina is non existent. They are not interested in the customer, they are not interested in the sale, they are not interested in the truth. They are a bunch of unprofessional people that when pushed to present a manager to assist on a number of occasions refused or made excuses as to why the manager would not talk to us and assist in sorting the situation out.
Piss poor service, do not recommend, will not refer, will not use for servicing and will make every effort to advise everyone to avoid this store. I am sure other stores are fine but the Mototrade Matina branch is TERRIBLE.
