Technical Service Engineer | FMCG (Antipolo Rizal, Philippines)

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a fast-moving consumer goods company. Our respected client is seeking a for a professional who is responsible for bridging the gap between product development and manufacturing, ensuring that newly developed products or processes are seamlessly integrated into production. This position will be assigned in Antipolo, Rizal with a contract of 6 months and subject to be renewed into permanent job based on the performance.

Job Summary:

The Technical Service Engineer will play a vital role in supporting the Research & Development (R&D) team within the manufacturing plant. The role will be responsible in collaborating with the R&D team on food product testing, conducting packaging trials, and other related task for the improvement of the products.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Conduct administration tasks to manage the introduction of food ingredients and recipes to a food plant
• Conduct line trials in a factory environment.
• Assist in the implementation of new and improved products, processes, systems, methodologies, and packaging materials
• Develop and implement financial and quality continuous improvements through the application of CI instruments
• Leverage standard run conditions to develop statistical process control settings and ranges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related scientific or technical disciplines would be required
• Relevant 1+ year experience in closely related industry would be required
• Experience in analysis of data to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operation
• Needs to be computer literate with experience in Mircosoft Word and Excel, experience in other food plant operating systems would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills
• Amenable to work in Antipolo Rizal
• Willing to work under a contract-based agreement
