Job offer: Retail Executive

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the leading cigarette manufacturer in the Philippines. Our respected client is seeking an experienced Retail Executive. The job is based in the Metro Manila and other Provinces in the Philippines. Candidates should be amenable to be assigned in our Batangas, Laguna or Imus Sales Offices, Mondays to Saturdays, no fixed schedule and can start as early as 6:30 AM.

Accountabilities: Your day to day tasks

• Maximize sales and achieve territory volume objective of total company portfolio
• Introduce distribution of newly launched/unlisted company brand in assigned territory
• Coordinates with Consumer Engagement Team to identify critical areas for promoter deployment, and help improve awareness, and trial of our brands
• Provides and maintains quality customer service and develops effective relationships at retail in order to position the company's as preferred business partner and maintain competitive advantage
• Educates retailers on PM brands and regulatory/fiscal environment, including illicit and counterfeit products
• Addresses territory business problems and seizes opportunities by developing a plan which supports the district's business objectives

Skill and competencies:

• At least Highschool Graduate (K-12)
• Strong Interpersonal skills and are knowledgeable in negotiation and consultative selling
• Field sales exposure is an advantage
• Basic Program Management - Trade programs, Pricing
• Basic Math - Suggested order, inventory management
• Comfortable using digital platforms and devices
• Should be comfortable to ride a panel truck / L300 (closed van)

Work Location: Sales Office - should be amenable to be assigned to do field work in areas covered
Work Schedule: Mondays to Saturdays, no fixed schedule and can start as early as 4:30 AM
