Review of Diocese of Cubao

We had the worst experience dealing with the office, more specifically, someone named Bessie Lee. She was the kind of person who took advantage of her position of approving and accepting paperwork. She was completely unprofessional as well, raising her voice and shouting at us when we tried to ask for reasons of her demands.

She asked for documents that do not exist for people who do not have a religion, and also demanded original copies of documents that you cannot give the original to, like a passport. When we submitted forms, all she saw was mistakes and questions that were not even applicable, and asked us to correct them and initial. These forms have already been seen by the priest interviewer and he approved them.

Worst, she accused us of submitting a fake marriage license. Quoting Bessie, "Kanino niyo ito nilakad?" upon seeing we were able to submit a marriage license a week before the wedding. Months before, she told us that she does not expect us to meet the requirements.

Bessie Lee should not be in her position. Marriage is a celebration, not a punishment. She should be working with criminals, because that's how she treats couples.
