Review Unreliable. Do not ever ever get Mercantile for Travel Insurance abroad.

My daughter was admitted for emergency cholecystectomy and the company refused to give a Letter of Guaranty to the hospital that they will pay the cost of hospitalization. This is stated in the policy that they will shoulder Inpatient expenses with no notation that it is reimbursible. All other patients who came did not have any problem with getting the Letter of Guaranty from their Travel Insurance co. - only poor us Filipino.

What is the use of this Insurance if it can not be used for what it is intended for?
