In 1966, VARIFOLD ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCTS was established as a single proprietorship by Architect Cesar S. Vergel de Dios. At the suggestion of a friend, he designed a folding partition that could be pushed aside or closed with very little effort. It caught on very fast in a market looking for quality local products to substitute for the expensive imported ones. Clients ranged from home owners to offices and restaurants.
