FIDA Philippines - Manila

Inspired by the worthy aspirations of the women lawyers across the seas, some fifteen (15) illustrious and prominent Filipino women lawyers grouped themselves to echo and translate into action in our shores the ideals and vision for which the International Federation was formed.In 1960, a brilliant lawyer and popular politician of her time, the late Josefina Phodaca-Ambrosio, was elected as the first FIDA International President. This earned for us the right to host the Eleventh International FIDA Convention and the official recognition as full-pledged organization.
