Rotary Club of Bay - Philippines

It was in September, 1992 that the idea of forming a civic organization in the town of Bay, Laguna was pursued. The timing was probably ripe as there were some individual like Tikboy Quirino and his close friends Danny Lanceras, Doming Coniconde and Dondon Caritos who have approached their kababayan PP Manny Barroso working in the adjacent town about forming such an organization. At the same time there were already initiatives being undertaken by the latter in helping the locals organize. With such chemistry at wok everybody was excited, eager to get down to business and talk about plans in helping the community.
