History of the Center CIS' inception in 1991 was brought about by many years of consultations and consensus-seeking that tried to address the need for ongoing formation and renewal both of Jesuits and lay partners alike, as well as the training of competent and effective givers of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
