Many years and many hairs ago, I started writing a boxing column in a small paper that the Manila Bulletin put out in 1982, Tempo. The column was titled Right Straight and it was one of the more controversial sections of that small paper where I spent eight years of my life as Senior Copy Editor. It gave boxing fans a deeper insight into the sport described by many critics as one of the dirtiest sports.
