A 100% Filipino-owned Company, Ocean Coast Shipping Corporation (OCSC) was incorporated on February 5, 2003 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 3, 2003 under Registry No. CS 200305094. With an initial authorized capitalization of P20,000,000.00, the primary purpose of OCSC is to engage in the business of domestic shipping – hauling of bulk liquid petroleum products, lighterage, and other related business activities – which started its operation by purchasing second-hand self-propelled vessel/tanker from Japan christened MT Jander. This vessel, having a load capacity of 550,000 liters, is equipped and designed to carry all kinds of white products, petroleum and chemicals, and to operate not only for bay and river operation but for coastwise run as well.
