Alexander Tan - Manila

Pinoy Art Lovers Unite! This is my new battlecry. My humble site (www.geocities.com/atandy70) started out in 2002, I was bored and had a lot of time. Back then, my Ophthalmology practice was rather slow (it's still a bit slow now), and art was more affordable. I was buoyed by my love for Philippine visual arts. I wanted to see more works, but there was little information online, and my favorite art book 'Art Philippines' only featured works till 1991. I began my 'art walk' back in 2000. Back then I would forage around gallery backrooms, even visit collectors houses to take pictures of their collection.
