The Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) is the umbrella association of all the IT & IT-Enabled Service Industry in the Philippines. The 'Sunshine Industry' as they call it, is currently the fastest growing industry in the country. We serve as the one-stop information and advocacy gateway for the country's key IT-enabled services sectors of the Contact Centers, The Back Office Operations, The Animation Industry, The Medical & Legal Transcription Services, The Philippine Software Development, The Engineering Design Outsourcing Companies, and other allied support services. We currently have 118 company members and have 5 association members, which are CCAP, MTIAPI, PSIA, ACPI, and HRCC. Our aim is to serve our members and the country by helping to establish the

We work with our members in representing the industry's needs in areas such as offshore marketing, education and training, security and privacy, legislation and public policy, among others. We strive for perfection in delivering the benefits to our members, which are as follows: - Advocacy of the Philippine IT & IT-enabled service industry interests in the U.S. and in other countries;- Representation in Government policies, assistance and laws (lobbying to ensure that the industry is well-represented in the development and enforcement of public policy);- Full access to the Philippine complete database, studies and surveys;- Development and implementation of a ?Code of Conduct? for members of BPA/P, that will dictate compliance with accepted industry Standards (e.g. quality education, poaching of employees);- BPA/P as the single point person to the government and investors in regards to the Philippine IT & IT-enabled service industry;- Easy access to the world-class BPA/P website that represents the ITES industry, that is constantly refreshed that will attract clients to the Philippines with hotlinks to companies URL, free publication or advertisement of member companies activities and events;- Active and on-going public relations, both here in the Philippines and abroad, that ?Brands? the Philippines as a major outsourcing destination;- BPA/P assistance in funding requirements for events and activities- Trade Organizations;- Members from different sectors helping each other in other types of services expertise;- Participation in BPA/Ps Power Teams and Coffee Table Talks and events (to create venues for industry participants to network and to share in industry initiatives);- Trainings and Seminars whether organized by BPA/P (that will contribute to the further upgrading of the industry, and making it more competitive in global markets);- Free participation in the training centers that BPA/P has initiated (UMAK ?
