Bonifacio brings to light a high-impact true to life story of Andres Bonifacio (Robin Padilla) with his virtues and humanity unfolding in our eyes at this day and age through the character of a young and inquisitive student (Daniel Padilla).

The movie also shows the roles that some of our national heroes played in the light of the Spanish oppression and occupancy. The bond that was established as they strategically plan the revolution and how deception, power and personal interests blinded them to even go up against one of their brothers (Bonifacio), sacrificing the true spirit of love for the country and their fellowmen.
