Tagcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency designed for digital payments. It utilizes both Proof of Stake (PoS) and Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanisms, and is the primary rewards currency on the Tagbond Rewards platform. Tagcoin is open source and can be traded on multiple exchanges. The starting difficulty is 0.5, and is a hybrid of PoS and PoW, with an annual interest rate of 1.5%. The algorithm utilized is Scrypt, with a block reward of 30 coins, and a 1% reduction in rewards every 3 months, with a minimum block reward of 3 coins. Blocks are generated every 4 minutes, and are retargeted every 2 hours with a 25% limit in both directions.
