Sagnay - Philippines

Sagnay is an old town established in the late 17th century by the Spanish friars. The Franciscans established the mission of Sagnay in 1684. Like the town of Lagonoy, Sagnay previously formed part of the province of Albay but was eventually separated in the year 1846 as ordered by Governor General Narciso Claveria.
