operations for Quality Assurance Manager position. The job is based in Subic, Zambales City, Philippines.

Job Summary:

• The QA Manager will responsible for creating significance of " Quality " in every aspect of manufacturing plant operations, through strict implementation of quality control procedures. Develop continuous improvement program in line with the Mexisting quality control procedures.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Coordination of overall quality controls and systems
• Monitoring and enhancement of in- process inspection procedures
• Installation of quality control policies and procedures ; ensuring compliance to the highest level of standard
• Takes the lead in creating quality control procedures for the whole group in collaboration with the other quality control Supervisors and recommends revision of specifications when indicated
• Formulates quality assurance policies and procedures for all the plants
• Final inspections as required and guidelines for application
• Head up and coordinate the ISO certification process and its strict implementation
• Identification of root cause, corrective and preventive action documentation
• Initiates the implementation of different activity that will spur " Quality Consciousness " in the whole workplace
• Monthly reporting of defects and action taken
• Decrease in overall reject rates
• Communication with top management on problems and actions to correct
• Accumulate, analyze and report on data that will enable the kind of continuous quality improvement expected in the plant
• Identify, track and determine root cause and corrective actions for defective parts and processes
• Technical evaluation of delivered materials from regular suppliers and of alternative materials from prospective new suppliers by directing the testing of conformance with specifications and expected performance technical protocols of different suppliers

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science major in Chemical, Industrial and Mechanical with PROFESSIONAL LICENSED
• With 5-10 years of relevant experience in quality control/quality assurance preferably gained from a manufacturing
• set-up or steel/metal processing plant
• Understanding and knowledge of ISO certification and program maintenance preferably with exposure in a foreign-owned manufacturing company
• High level of leadership ability and matured
• High analytical skills and detail oriented
• With pro-active mindset and excellent communication skills
• Hands on attitude where needed and technical capacity
• Organizational skills, problem solving
• Customer/ client focus, time management and collaboration
• Performance Management
• Preferably resident of, or willing to be assigned in Olongapo City
