Review of Unionbank - Makati City, Metro Manila (Ayala - SSS)

I applied for an EON card and chose the Union Bank - Makati SSS Ayala branch as my pick up point since I am living to Manila and my way to my work is through Makati (I am working at Taguig). I've received an email and text notification that I could now claim my EON card on the Union bank pick up branch I chose, even provided me my reference number. i went to Union Bank - Makati SSS Ayala branch to claim my EON card, then the teller asked me where I am working and living, after answering his question, he told me that I could claim my EON on either Taguig or Manila branch. He doesn't even check my reference number. What is the sense of choosing the branch where you want to pick up your EON card then upon going there the teller will just refer you to other branch? My time, money and effort are just all wasted.
