Review of PIZZA HUT - HEAD OFFICE

My partner and I regularly shop at Robinson's Place in Bacolod City. Over the past month we have gone to the Pizza Hut in that mall a total of 4 times to have a "Shrimp and Anchovy Pizza". On all 4 occassions we were told that our order was "not available" - hard to believe that a sea-faring island nation surrounded by ocean has "no shrimps". On another occasion the excuse was that they "had no cheese" - a pizza restaurant with no cheese? Why is it still open?

Now this continuing situation leads me to believe that either something is wrong with Pizza Hut's re-stocking procedures either as a corporation or in that particular branch so to check this out we visited the Pizza Hut in the SM Mall - guess what, lot's of cheese, lots of shrimps and good service. So the evidence suggest that the manager of your Robinson's Branch is grossly incompetent.

Yesterday's (Thursday November 24th) experience at Robinson's has provoked me beyond reason. As you can guess we visited your restaurant again at 12:45 and ordered our "Shrimp and Anchovy" pizza advertised in the table menu at 259PHP. We added bacon and a cheese stuffed crust. After two trips to check on availability the waiter (the only one on duty at 1PM ?) informed us that indeed it was available and so we placed our order. Now I must say that we also regularly frequent the Shakey's pizza in the same mall and are very familiar with a shrimp,anchovy and bacon pizza. The pizza that was given to us yesterday had only very few shrimps (complete with their shells and tails still intact) and the bacon was only present in the smallest of quantity and size. It did however have a "hint" of anchovy. However,even ignoring the quality of this particular product - which doesn't even remotely compare with the same pizza at your branch at the SM mall - the real insult came when the waiter delivered the invoice. We were charged 335PHP for a pizza advertised at 259PHP and we were charged for extra anchovies, extra shrimp and extra bacon - extra, we didn't even get "normal". When we complained about the invoice, the manager of the restaurant did not intervene but sent the waiter back with some other lame excuse about the price. I can assure you that the only "extra" we received yesterday was "extra insulting".

Now I'd like to add that as a Canadian I have visited a lot of Pizza Hut locations in Canada, the United States and Australia. The quality has always been exemplary and the service second to none. Yesterday's experience convinces me that this location in Robinson's Place (Bacolod City, Philippines) is urgently in need of new management. Moreover, I am so "pissed off" about that experience that I will never again patronize a Pizza Hut location in the Pilippines and I will go out of my way to advise all of my friends and acquaintances to avoid it as well.

Of note as well, when trying to get the factual details of this location while contacting you, I could not find this location using your "Find A Hut" option on your webpage. You must be very proud of it, to not even list it.

I want to inform you that in addition to sending this information to the Philippines franchise I am also forwarding it to the American Head Office, just in case you decide to edit it out of existance. Also, while completing this review, I was asked for a rating and was forced to assign a "TERRIBLE". Had there been anything lower I would have chosen that.
