My family ate in this restaurant for lunch earlier today. The manager's response to a concern raised was totally off, shameful and all-out wrong. He was very obnoxious indeed.
Here's what happened:
I exchanged my BDO charge slips for meal packages in their shop. The promo says I can redeem at least 5 treats per day. The mechanics would tell you that we can only redeem one receipt worth PhP 2,500 and up from one merchant up to 5 merchants per day.
I had receipts three receipts worth PhP 2,500 and up today from: Smart, Globe and Ng Khai. The waitress who handled me said I cannot redeem one receipt because two were swiped from a BPI Express card machine. I calmly explained the mechanics. The waitress checked it out again. The manager passed us by and WOW, the reaction was something I would never have expected from someone with that position. He did not even stop to ask what was going on, he simply got the BDO placard with the mechanics and slammed it in front of me saying to the waitress, "LET HER READ THAT". So, I was really offended and said with authority "YOU DO NOT LET ME READ THAT BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND IT COMPLETELY. YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE READING IT ALONG WITH YOUR WAITRESSES". He was not even apologetic and continued to be offensive. He got my ID and Card and threw it in front of me and said "DO NOT LET HER CLAIM HER TREATS", and that's when all of my patience got the best of me.
I asked for his name. I got a MR. ARIEL ANONUEVO written here by the waitress. I hope the owner can do something to correct this kind of treatment and service.
