Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the Maritime Transportation presents here in the Philippines. Our respected client is searching for a results-driven IT Manager . The job is based in Makati City.

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company's IT department, ensuring that all technology systems and services run smoothly. This role involves managing IT staff and maintaining IT infrastructure to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations: Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.

Technical Support: Provide solutions for hardware and network issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Team Management: Supervise IT staff, including setting goals, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.

System Maintenance: Monitor regular maintenance and updates of IT systems, including backups, security patches, and software updates.

Project Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of IT projects, such as system upgrades and new technology implementations.

Vendor Management: Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of quality services and products.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

Budget Management: Assist in managing the IT budget, including tracking expenses and procurement of IT resources.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
• Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, including networks, clusters, servers, and software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with IT support and service management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSE) are a plus.
• Experience with Linux systems administration will be considered advantageous.
