Job offer: Merchandise Assistant

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading fashion distribution and retail company. Our client is looking for a Merchandise Assistant who will play a vital role in supporting the merchandising team with day-to-day activities, ensuring efficient stock management, timely deliveries, and smooth replenishment processes. The Merchandise Assistant will be responsible for upholding operational and commercial standards set by the management. The work setup is hybrid work set-up and their office is based in Makati, Metro Manila.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Inventory Management: Monitor deliveries and stock levels, oversee inventory movement across stores, ensure timely replenishments, and coordinate with the warehouse.
• Sales Reporting: Generate detailed reports on sales and inventory.
• Administrative Support: Prepare RFPs, organize documentation, conduct competitor checks, and support the Immediate Superior as needed.
• Online Coordination: Prepare merchandise files for uploading and collaborate with teams on vendor and merchandise registration.

Key job qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 6 months of experience, background and knowledge in merchandising and/or retail store operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and function well as part of a team.
• Time Management: Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
